i have studied only inter Bpc in govt jr college in telangana am i eligible for 100 % fee reimbursement in engineering course like biomedical engineering
Hello Arun,
You are not eligible for 100% fee reimbursement for an engineering course like Biomedical Engineering because you have studied BPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) in Intermediate.
To get fee reimbursement for engineering courses , you must have studied MPC (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) in Intermediate and qualified in TS EAMCET . Since you don't have Mathematics , you are not eligible for engineering admission through TS EAMCET , and therefore, fee reimbursement is not possible.
Hope it helps !
Hello there,
Telangana operates fee reimbursement based on specific requirements. You may qualify for the scheme since you attended the BPC classes at a government junior college provided that you fulfill a set of requirements.
Here are the basic requirements for 100 percent reimbursement :
- The government establishes specific income thresholds with 1.5 lakh for all students and 2 lakh for students from SC/ST categories but these numbers may differ per year.
- Students who belong to the categories of SC, ST, Minority and Disabled are eligible for reimbursement benefits although the payment percentages differ among them.
- The requirement for good academic standing is 75% attendance.
- Students who attend government or government-aided colleges receive complete reimbursement benefits under the program. The reimbursement amount in private colleges tends to be less than what government and government-aided institutions receive.
- Students can obtain full reimbursement through the program only if they enroll in selected professional and degree courses.
The percentage of reimbursement that students receive depends on their enrolled college along with their academic program. Students who join government educational institutions have greater chances for full reimbursement.
Hope this will help!
