I have taken admission in dyal singh college eco hons .bt some are saying it's not a good place .please provide a wider view on this {DU}

The University of Delhi , informally known as Delhi University ( DU ), is a collegiate public central university , located in New delhi, India . It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central legislative assembly . As a collegiate university, its main functions are divided between the academic departments of the university and affiliated colleges. The University of Delhi has become India's largest institution of higher learning and among the largest in the world.

Dayal Singh College is a co-educational institute of university of delhi. It was established in 1959 and is situated in Delhi. It offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in science, the humanities and commerce.

It has been ranked 20th all over India in the National institutional ranking framework in 2019. Dayal Singh college has been awarded "A" grade by the National assessment and accreditation council in the year 2017.

Placement-  The college has an active placement cell which provides great job opportunities to the students. Reputed companies like KPMG India, Wipro, TCL, and Tech Mahindra visited our college to offer placements to the final year students. The average salary package offered ranged from 3 LPA to 6 LPA, which is decent.

Infrastructure - The campus is quite decent, and it is spread over 11 acres. The college has a library and a student resource centre. The college provides facilities like sports rooms, well-equipped labs, an auditorium, an amphitheatre, basketball court, football ground and a spacious canteen which offers good food. Classrooms are neat and clean.

Faculty - Faculty members in the economics department are very helpful and good. They teach every topic in-depth as they are well-qualified.
