Guidelines for application for CAT clearly state that the candidate must have cleared all the exams till graduation with at least 50% for general category and at the time of campus registeration they do check for all mark sheets and provisional passing certificate.
Anyway, if you have a back, it won't be a hindrance provided you clear the exam and show the relevant documents. Every college gives a certain lease period within which you can show the relevant documents to them.
So, go ahead and apply for CAT 2018 and focus on your back paper to clear with good Marks.
