I have to to agricultural engineering but only by government colleges, what to do?????
Hi Rajesh,
If you are from the state of Andhra Pradesh, then you will be eligible for admission in Government institutes for pusuring B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering through AP EAMCET.
If you are from the state of Telenagana, then you will be eligible for admission in Government institutes of the state for pusuring B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering through TS EAMCET.
Similarly, OUAT CET is another entrance test for admission to Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.
But if you are not a domicile of these states, then you will not be eligible for admission to the government colleges of these states as 100% seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to that state only.
The other option you have is to appear in All India Entrance Examination conducted by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research - ICAR AIEEA: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
You can also appear in JEE Main and qualify as the top 2,24,000 candidates of JEE Main to appear in JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is the entry gate for admission to the IITs and only IIT Kharagpur offers Agricultural Engineering programmes for which admission is through JEE Advanced.
For admission through ICAR AIEEA and JEE Advanced, you are eligible for admission on All India basis. You need not to have a candidate from any particular state.
