Hello candidate,
If you want to secure a seat at NITs or GFTIs your rank need to be below 18K for core engineering branches and below 40K for non core branches with domicile quota. And if you're preparing for IIT then you have to qualify for JEE advanced and excel in it.
However you can get private colleges with your JEE rank upto 3lakh.
