I just finished my class X exam. my primary stream selection is PCB. people advise me to take maths also as risk mitigation strategy. I am 100% sure not to go for engineering. what other advantage Maths will give me (in terms of colleges, courses and number of seats in bio-courses). pl advice.

If you are primary a PCB student then I would suggest you to go for maths in class 11th and 12th if you are really interested in only a bio-stream then I would just you to not listen to anyone and focus on your interest, if you are particularly interested in MBBS or MD then there is no other option than taking biology I am getting additional maths full put you at a pressure that is not useful for your future career in MBBS or MD, if you are not interested in MBBS or MD and you want to do any other bio related course like BSc then then also you do not require maths that much, if you are good at maths and you do not find it very hard then you can opt for an additional subject as maths but it will put you at an unnecessary pressure in class 11th and 12th if you are only interested in bio related fields only.
