The admissions in various Engineering colleges is based on ranks. Even if you’re qualified, you need to have a good rank in EAMCET to get into good engineering colleges. Admissions are based on cut offs. you need to fall in the cut off criteria based on rank. So, apart from this, there are colleges which offer btech for very high ranks also. But joining in those colleges won’t be worthy as there will no proper facilities and placements available. So for joining into engineering, it is important to join reputed colleges with good facilities only. If this is not possible for your rank then the other option left is management quota.
