I live in the land which is under the name of my deceased grandmother and my father or mother doesn't hold any residential land under their names. Further our annual income is also less than 8 lakhs per annum. Am I eligible for EWS ?

Hello,

EWS reservation is mainly for candidates who belong to General Category. If you belong to a General Category and have an annual source of income from all the sources less than 8 lakhs per annum, you are eligible for EWS reservation.

If the residential plot is ancestral, it cannot be accounted to your assets and income and another point, as you are saying your parents do not hold the land. Hence, you are eligible for EWS Category .
