Since you have completed your board examination with PCB, you have a lot of options for you. All the honours courses require around 3-4 lakh maximum as total course fees, which is quite affordable.( As you said 1.5 lakh per year). You can go for BSc. Agriculture which has a great scope for Government jobs nowadays. Try for this course in a Government College.

You can study BSc Botany or Zoology which will help you get a job as a teacher in school or a college. You can even go into research after your MSc.In these you have better scope only after MSc.

You can also study B.A. Pschycology or BSc. Pschycology. This is a very interesting and good courses but can flourish in this subject only after higher studies.

You can go for BSc. Forensics, Anthropology . These two courses are new to the era and have very good scope in India as people who study these subjects are very less.
