i m 28 years old due to some reason cannot proceed with studies i have cleared my +12 through nios in 2019 am i eligibile for iit.

Those candidates who wish to appear for JEE Main 2020 exam must meet the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 specified by the officials. JEE Main 2020 eligibility criteria will be released by the officials of NTA such as age, educational qualification and subjects. Candidates who meet the JEE Main eligibility 2020 can fill up the application form.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Nationality

• a. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
• b. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs & Foreign national candidates can also apply for JEE main 2020.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Age Limit

• a. There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2020 examination.
• b. Candidates who have cleared their class 12 or equivalent exam in 2018 and 2019 are eligible to take this exam.
• c. Those candidates who about take their class 12 or equivalent exam in the academic year 2020 can also take the JEE Main exam.
• d. The candidates should satisfy themselves about the eligibility of age limit requirements of the Institutes in which he/she is desirous of taking admission.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Year Of Appearance in Qualifying Exam

• a. Students who have cleared their Class XII exam in the academic year of 2018 or 2019 are eligible to take this examination.
• b. Candidates who are appearing in class 12 exam in the academic year of 2020 can also appear for this examination.
• c. Those candidates who cleared their exam in the year of 2017 or before 2017 are not eligible to take this examination.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Subjects In Qualifying Examination

• a. Candidates must have taken at least 5 subjects in class 12 or equivalent exam to appear for JEE Main examination.
• b. Those candidates who have only 4 subjects in class 12 or equivalent exam are not eligible to appear for JEE Main 2020 examination.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Number of Attempts

• a. Candidates can appear for JEE Main exam for three consecutive years.
• b. As the JEE Main exam will be conducted twice, candidates can appear for the exam both the times.
• c. However, the attempt for a particular academic year will be considered as one attempt only.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Qualifying Board Exam

• a. Candidates must pass their Class 12 exam from any board under Association of Indian Universities.
• b. NIOS students can also apply for JEE Main 2020 exam as the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) also comes under the Association of Indian Universities.
