I m passed in 12th arts , I want to become ias officer , I m not know this possible after this stream ask me

The minimum requirement to appear in UPSC examination is successful completion of an undergraduate degree in any stream. The selection of candidates is based on their performance in UPSC written examination and interview round. You may also read a career as Indian Foreign Service Officer .

In order to appear for UPSC IAS exam, you must have completed your graduation degree with any discipline. There is no such subject criteria determined by the exam conducting authority. Do not worry about the eligibility on the basis of the subject you choose. Just make sure that you complete your graduations and then you can go for it. To become an IAS officer you should appear for UPSC exam and should qualify it and to appear for UPSC you should be a graduate from a recognized university.Your 12th course does not matter here it can be science,commerce or arts.
