There are various programmes on offer from certificate courses to Master’s in nursing. The most popular one is the BSc (Nursing) programme as it gives basic knowledge about nursing, first-aid and midwifery as well. It is typically a four-year course and you need to have completed 10+2 with PCB. You would have to dispense medication, keep complete records of each patient’s progress, set up and operate medical equipment along with administration and routine duties. Employment opportunities exist across health services.
