I paid the seat acceptance fee but did not report at RC thus rejecting the offered seat,how can I claim my refund money?

Hello Dipankar, the seat acceptance fee is paid to JOSAA and not to the college concerned. if you do not take admission in the college you have been alloted you cannot get the money refunded. Not accepting the seat through JOSAA and moving onto CSAB means you are starting a fresh process and in this you lose both your counselling fees and also the seat you have got through JOSAA.

Yes , withdrawal option is available but only till the announcement of Round 6. After that , you can’t withdraw your seat.On withdrawal of your seat , a processing charge of Rs 1000 is deducted and you will get the remaining amount refunded. You lose your allotted seat and are out of the system of JoSAA.
