i passed 10th in 2024 from icse board and will pass 12th from nios in 2027 due to some issue and i dont have my 10th character certificate and nios does not issue this but i heard college doesnot accept alternate documents like gazette character certificate medical college and engineering college

If you completed Class 10 from the ICSE Board and are completing Class 12 through NIOS, the absence of a separate Class 10 character certificate does not automatically make you ineligible for admission. Character certificates are generally issued by the school, while NIOS provides its own academic documents.

For medical or engineering admissions, the required documents can vary by college and counselling authority. If your college specifically asks for a character certificate, you should confirm whether a certificate from your previous ICSE school or another prescribed format is acceptable. Do not rely on a Gazette certificate unless the college specifically permits it.
