I passed class 12th with 85% in 2018 and have a gap of 3 year after 12th. I want to take admission in psychology hons in the academic year 2021 in a regular college in Kolkata. Would my 3 year gap after 12th affect my admission in a college in kolkata?

Each college has it's own eligibility criteria. Few colleges has minimum and maximum age limit for admission in to a particular course while few colleges does not keep bar on age. So you need to check the eligibility requirements and the age criteria. If you fullfill the age requirement you can surely get admission in that particular college.
Now, coming to gap in education and year of passing in the qualifying exam, it is same as in the case of eligibility criteria and age requirement. A gap in education is permitted in few colleges. level) with minimum five subjects including English and the total marks for English paper must be 100 marks in 2021 or 2020 from a recognized Board. So you are not eligible get seat in this college as you have passed 10+@ in the year 2018. But you are eligible to get admission in Jogamaya Devi College.
