A 12th pass candidate is not eligible for Lateral Entry admission.
For Lateral Entry admission, one needs 3 year diploma in Any domain of engineering.
After 3 year diploma, you can give various Lateral Entry Examination for admission in Directly 2nd year of B.Tech.
You can also get lateral entry in engineering after completing B.Sc
