I qualified for gate 2026 under ews category. but during gate application i selected general category mistakenly. my gate marks are above ews category and below general category. i am able to register for ccmt. will i be eligible for aicte stipend if i admitted in a aicte approved institute in ews.

Your scholarship eligibility depends on whether your GATE 2026 score meets the General category qualifying cutoff. If your category could not be changed after the correction window, then you are usually treated as a General category candidate during admission and scholarship processing.

Generally:
• If your score is equal to or above the General cutoff → you may be eligible for CCMT counselling and AICTE PG scholarship/stipend
• If your score is below the General cutoff → you may not be considered GATE qualified for scholarship benefits
