I registered for both papers in jee main .Now I've decided to write paper 2 and not paper 1. What should I do?

If you are not interested in appearing in paper 1 then there is no problem you can just simply go on appearing for paper 2 the people 2 is scheduled to be conducted on 8 of January therefore there is no need to worry about it just escape the paper 1 and appear for paper two or else if you can I spend 3 hours then just go and appear for paper and also because I was nothing more than the three hours

Nothing, you can appear in whichever you want or even both.Dont worry about anything and i would suggest that if possible then attend the both papers.

You cannot cancel your registration for that paper 1. What I would suggest you is to attend both papers or it will be a waste of money. It's like it wouldn't be embarrassing how bad you performed on paper 1 as no one is going to see it. So what you can do is give your best shot to both paper and see which works out and which doesn't. Now once you have registered you cannot back out, so give both the exams and see what's at offer for you.
