I scored 160 marks on je e mains 2018. Which nit can I expect
Dear aspirant;
It depends on your branch preferences.
For getting into 5 top nit with any branch, for a safe side you need to get 150+ but to get a preferred branch 200–250 would get you a good branch moving above with your marks.
All the best!

Now
General Category:
Good branches in mediocre NITs and off beat branches in old andwell established NITs.
Completely depends on the student.
2. OBC:
Top NITs Top branches. Talking about 2017, the cutoff being set very low as Board marks are not considered this year. The top students will fight for IITs so even the JoSAA cutoff will be reduced.
3. ST & SC:
NIT Trichy in your hand.
4. State Quota:
NITs have state quota fir the students respective states they are situated in. So, the cut off will be less and easy to get in.
Hope this helps.
Well the cutoff marks changes from year to year and category to category and you can't even calculate the marks based on the answer keys provided by the coaching institutes. So just wait for the actual cutoff and the answer key. Don't worry, hope for the best.
All the best buddy :)
