I scored 160..obc...rank 572...which college will i get n which branch

Congratulations on securing a good rank in CEE exam. As you secured a good rank and as you belong to OBC category you will be able to get Assam Engineering college (AEC) or Jorhat engineering college (JEC) it is upto you which college you are choosing. But if you select AEC you may not get CSE branch rather than that you are free to choose any other branch and as per JEC you can get CSE branch there. Hope it helped you.

And can you please say about the chemical branch.....if i have any chances of getting that branch

Basically chemical engineering is all about to devolope ways of making materials and energy. If you are interested in chemistry you can have that branch, more about in chemical engineering you are going to deal with how to make raw materials into usable products such as petrochemicals,plastics, medicine etc.
I have a very important question and it is frequently said by many that nowadays most of the engineers are unemployed..so my question is that for not qualifying GATE is it a big factor for them to be unemployed...or there is something other factor?
