Rohit , glad to see that you scored 261 in the manipal entrance exam .Well according to past years trends i feel you will be eligible to get admission in mechanical engineering.

Though factors like how hard the paper was can also affect it.The number of seats then left would decide then that if you are able to take admission or not.
