For getting into NIT for general category, you need at least 96-97 percentile..
You've very less chances of getting highly popular branch in good nit. There are other options like IIITs too which you can give a try.
You can have an idea of previous year cutoff for top NITs here:

According to the statistics, your rank may lie around 50,000.
With this you may get non core branches like biotechnology, biomedical,ceramic,mining metallurgy and material at good nits.
If you have ebc then it may support you in getting a better college/branch.
