I secured 1580 rank in the A. My pref order was ECE, MECH, and CSE, but I allocated in phase 1. I'm not that interested in CSE. Want ECE or Mech, now if I go for the 2nd phase, will this CSE be cancelled immediately or retained if I didn't get any seat in the second phase

Therefore, if you participate in the second phase and do not receive ECE or Mechanical Engineering, your existing CSE seat is generally retained.

If a higher-preference branch becomes available according to your rank and seat availability, your allotment will automatically be upgraded. However, it is always advisable to read the official counselling guidelines carefully, as rules may differ slightly depending on the admission authority.
