Yes definitely. You've got a lot of chances to get a seat in the Chemical engineering branch at VIT VELLORE campus. The expected cutoff rank for Chemical here is approximately 18,000-19,000. If you're not able to, and you're very determined on doing Chemical engineering only, you should try for Amaravati and Bhopal campuses.
