i took long term instead of joining in small branch in small nit ,is what i did correct,i am in dilemma

There are thousands of JEE aspirants who have taken long term over the years. Not everyone can work productively while preparing for both board exams and JEE. As long as you are doing what you are interested in, it doesn't matter whether you have taken long term. If you are aiming for any branch other than which you got you did the right thing. But you need to use the time effectively rather than thinking about what's already done. If you are appearing in JEE Main July 2020, the exam date is approaching so you need to make use of this time and prepare well and give your 100% best.
