I want admission in class 11, PCB
Entering Class 11 in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) stream, especially if you’re following a career in Medicine or its allied fields, is a huge deal. The majority of it will be depending only upon your class 10th board results. Some schools will ask for a pretty good mark, particularly in Science; they may ask for 60-70% in total.
Some of the harder schools will be asking for marks above 80%.
Just like 10th board, the admissions of the Class 11 generally start one or two weeks after the 10th board result (i.e., between may to June). Download the application forms from the schools of your choice; you can collect them from the administration’s office at the school premises or from its official websites. Attach the below mentioned along with the filled form – Photocopy of Class 10th Mark sheet, TC, character certificate, passport size photographs. On the merit basis some school can call their entrance test or interview or some sort of small test etc also.
In PCB stream there will be Physics, Chemistry, Biology with Language preferably English. You will also be given an additional optional subject (e.g. Mathematic for PCMB), Physical Education or Computer Science depending on what the school offers.
You want to spend your time looking at and applying to a broad range of schools and make sure that each has the types of facilities and academic reviews that they offer so that you are as informed as you possibly can be for when you’re making important decisions about where you want to be in your life later on.
