Hi ANNIE,
One of the most famous exams for MBA is CAT. This is the exam you should be focusing first, though there are more like XAT, IIFT, etc. CAT is an aptitude exam for admissions in various B-Schools in India including prestigious IIMs for their MBA program. The exam is conducted in the last week of November and the form comes in September. Students in their final year of graduation can apply for CAT. The exam consists of three sections:
-
VERBAL ABILITY AND READING COMPREHENSION(ENGLISH)
- LOGICAL REASONING AND DATA INTERPRETATION(REASONING + MATHS)
- QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE(MATHS)
The exam in total consists of 100 questions carrying 3 marks each. Each section has 32, 32 and 34 questions respectively. You have to clear cutoff of both each section and the exam on a whole. The safe marks for at least one IIM are equal to or above
180
.
After that IIMs will call you for WAT-PI. An interview and a test and if you qualify these then you are allowed to take admission in their MBA Program.
