I too got 97. 95 percentile in Jan mains this year and I'm expecting to perform much better and the April mains.
I would like to acquaint you with the knowledge that your percentile is not category wise . Your All India rank will be determined from this . And then you will also get Category rank accordingly from this .
According to your information, it seems your rank would be around 23000 . This is a decent rank but it would not help you to get a very good branch in Top NIT . But you may get Civil , Chemical and Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering in NIT Surat NIT Surathkal ,NIT Kurukshetra , NIT Jamshedpur , NIT JALANDHAR and many more. You may get IT in IIEST Shibpur .
