Both courses are paramedical and directly linked with lab work in hospitals/diagnostic centres.
- DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology): It is a 2 years after 12th (PCB). Fees are very low in govt. colleges (10k–40k/year) and higher in private (40k–1.2L/year).
- BMLT (Bachelor of MLT): 3 years + internship. Gives you deeper training, opens up scope for PG or higher positions. Govt. colleges charge around 20k–60k/year, private ones between 70k–2.5L/year.
