Dear Student,
It is not possible to become an IPS Officer right after completing 12th standard . In order to become an IPS Officer, you must apply for CSE exam conducted by the UPSC. You must also crack the exam (preliminary, mains and interview) in order to get selected for the training. The basic eligibility criteria required to appear for this exam is – candidate must possess Graduate Degree from a recognized University/Institute!
So, to become an IPS officer , the first step after 12th is that, you must join some college to pursue graduation. After that give the exams conducted by UPSC.

there is no way you can become an IPS after class12. so kindly join a degree. (any degree) finish it. apply for UPSC exam and write it. clear the prelims. then clear the mains. then you shall attend the india's second toughest interview (1st being SSB), then clear it. if you can in cutoff, then you can undergo IPS training at UP. then you are an IPS.
so 1st apply for a graduation
