I want to do ayurvedic course from uttranchal ayurvedic college in dehradun is there any scope in it?

Hi Kanchan

Ayurvedic Science is still growing in India and its popularity in India and worldwide has only increased with time. I wouldn't say it has a set career-path as is the case with other well-established technical fields. However, it is not to say that there the field of Ayurveda is without scopes. You can make a lot of it if you really have the passion for studying and practising herbs and natural ways of treatment. After you complete your course, you may practice individually with your own clinical set-up or join others' practice. Or you may go for higher studies or join research. The field of Ayurveda has a lot of grown potentials in India.

Furthermore, Uttranchal Ayurvedic College, established in 2001 has a fine research base and a hospital as well, which in all probabilities will give you practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge, if you join it. You may search on it more on the internet, talk to its existing students or alumni (via facebook, or personal contacts), to know more about the college and the field.

I hope it helps!

All the best!
