    If you wish to become a IT Engineer then you can appear for the entrance exam in your 12th class like JEE Main, BITSAT, SRM, Manipal & your state level entrance exam etc.

    You can take IT branch in your engineering program.

    To get admission in NITs and IITs make sure you need to get 75% marks in your board exam as a general category or you should be in top 20 percentile.
