Hi sir,it's Jamila. How will be the questions in entrance exam and who will conduct it?
''PERFUSIONIST ; PERSON WHO USES BYPASS MACHINE AND RELATED MATERIAL DURING CARDIOVESCULAR SURGRIES AND STUFF .''
In some countries, perfusionists are clinical scientists who have undertaken postgraduate training, while in other countries the field is classed as a medical specialty and the role is restricted to specialised doctors.
In the United States, a bachelor's degree with concentrations in biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology is the prerequisite to be admitted to a perfusion program.
As of 2005, there are 18 perfusion training programs in the United States, most offering a master's degree in perfusion sciences or circulatory sciences. Training typically consists of two years of academic and clinical education.
ABOUT INDIA:
Assessment of candidates for admission is based on their performance at the 10+2 level, entrance exam, and personal interview. Subsequently, candidates are assessed and shortlisted.
A three and half year bachelor's degree program is available, which includes 6 months internship.
An 2 years post graduate diploma in some institution's (i. e. AIIMS Delhi, SMSMC Jaipur).
MAJOR INSTITUTES:
1. Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences B.Sc
2. Magadh University UG
3. Bharath University UG
4. Sri Ramachandra University Pharmacy & Paramedical UG
Thanks
"GOOD LUCK"
