The minimum criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/ university with a minimum aggregate score of 50. Students waiting their final examinations’ results are also eligible to apply on provisional basis.
The general procedure for admission to the course is merit-based, i.e. on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate at the 10+2 level. A few institutes also conduct entrance exams for admission to the course.
