I want to know all the procedure and qualifications needed for taking an admission in AIMS university!

AIIMS is a Medical college and Medical research university. The eligibility required to take admission in AIIMS is :

1. The candidate should be minimum 17 years old

2. The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 with Biology as compulsory subject, with a minimum aggregate of 60%

3. The candidate should have scored the required percentile in AIIMS MBBS Examination.

For taking admission in AIIMS, New Delhi, the score should be above 99 percentile.

The procedure for taking admission in AIIMS is:

The candidates are short listed on the merit basis by AIIMS. The candidates then go through Stage I and Stage II.

In Stage I, the candidates appear for Aptitude related MCQs test.

In Stage II, the candidates appear for subject related MCQs test.

Out of the candidates who are 50th percentile or above in the written test (Stage-I), number of candidates thrice the number of seats advertised will be called for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks).

The list of selected students is displayed on the website of AIIMS.
