I want to make my professional career in nuitrinist and dietician in abroad
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well. When the question relates to the scope of nutrition and nutrition majors, I think it is very similar to the US.
To become a dietitian, you must complete an appropriate accredited internship program, take a comprehensive exam, and obtain a quasi-country registration or accreditation.
In short: nutrition and diet are very different. Many people study medicine, some go into research, while others work in the non-nutrition field. The strength of nutrition and nutrition lies in a wide range of basic education in mathematics and natural sciences such as chemistry, anatomy and biology.
I hope this answers your question.
All the best.
Hi Ahad,
For a specific response, I to know whether you want to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate programme abroad? As your question does not state the same, let me provide you common information-
The Indian High School Leaving Certificate (CBSE and ISC boards only) at the end of standard XII is generally considered for direct entry onto undergraduate programmes with an overall average score of 80 percent or above. However, please note that requirements vary across countries and universities.Highly competitive programmes ask for an overall average score of 90 percent and above would put candidates at an advantage.
In any specific subjects considered compulsory or preferable for entry to your chosen degree courses, they will usually require at least 80-85percent in that particular subject. Please note that the differences in the state boards are taken into consideration when reviewing applications.
Apart from the above-stated information, you will have to appear for the English language proficiency tests-IELTS(Academic)/TOEFL
IELTS: Most universities require a minimum score of 6- 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL IBT: You should aim to obtain 80 and above out of 120 to get admissions to universities.
Remember- You must have taken the test no more than 2 years before your course starts.
