Hello Aspirant,
AP PGECET is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE for admission to
ME/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm programs.
AP PGECET 2019 is scheduled from May 1 to 4 in CBT mode.
AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria of AP PGECET 2019 consists of the conditions and requirements that the candidates have to meet to participate in the admission process. If the candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria, then they will not be allowed to participate in the examination process. GATE qualified candidates will not have to appear for the entrance examination and will be eligible for direct admissions. The AP PGECET 2019 eligibility criteria are listed below:

Age limit:
should not be younger than 21 years of age. The candidates do not have any upper age limit.

Nationality:The candidates should be of Indian nationality.

Domicile:The candidates should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and the proof (documents) should be with them.

Academic Qualifications:Should have
completed
their qualifying examination i.e., B.E./B.Tech successfully.

Marks Required:The general category candidates are required to secure at least 50% marks in their qualifying exam whereas the reserved category candidates have to score 40%.

GATE:Direct admissions will be open for GATE qualified candidates.
AP PGECET Exam Pattern:
Andhra University describes the exam pattern of AP PGECET 2019. There are 14 papers, conducted in two sessions. Listed below are highlights of the exam pattern:
- Mode of Examination – Computer Based Test i.e. candidates will be allocated their own computer system.
- Type of Questions – objective type questions (MCQs). For each question, four options will be provided out of which one has to choose the correct answer.
- Number of Questions – In all the papers a maximum of 120 questions will be asked.
- Exam Duration – the duration of exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes) duration examination.
- Medium of Examination – The question paper contains questions in English medium only.
- Marking Scheme – Each question carries one mark.

Negative Marking
– There is no provision of negative marking in AP PGECET 2019.
According to the above mentioned eligibility criteria, only the candidates who have completed their B.Tech can apply for PG ECET.The candidates who are in their final year are not eligible to apply for PGECET. Hope you got the information which you are looking for.
