I was general categary student and I got 85.6 in jee mains but now my status change from general to obc is this beneficial for me?

Hi ! It is very much beneficial to you. As you know, OBC get some deductions of marks in cut off. So in your case it will be helpful. Your 85.6 percentile will be equivalent to 93 percentile in general. So, you have still some chance to get in nit or IIIT or in GFTI. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
