I would like to ask the basic difference between B.E and B.Tech
Hi Manav,
Both aren't that different, B.E. stands for Bachelor of Engineering while B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. Some colleges (like IITs, NITs and IIITs) call their bachelor degree courses as B.Tech. Other colleges which offer courses on arts, commerce call their engineering degree B.E. There might be some difference in their course structure.. like B.Tech being skilled based and B.E. more theoretical.
Hope it answers your doubt.
Hey manav!
In terms of future scope and importance of degree , there is no difference between b.e. and b.tech.both are equivalent degrees. The only difference between them is that B.E. Stands for bachelor of engineering and b.tech stands for bachelor of technology. B.e. is more data oriented while b.tech is more skill oriented which means that b.e. focuses more on theoretical knowledge while b.tech focuses on practical knowledge as well.
Hope it helps!
