Definitely you can try different government colleges. Depending on your cut-off mark and group, you choose the best available college. You have very good opportunities to enter into a govt college. But one important thing, chose wisely, consult with an experienced person before making a decision. Use the opportunity wisely. You will be having BC reservation quota also. I am unable to help you more because I don't know which group you studied, what is your cut-off, etc. Anyway, Wish you all the best!

oh you are bio student. That's good. I actually misunderstood you as an CBSE student. For CBSE students, the total is for 500 marks. That is the reason why I told it is a very good mark .If you are a State Board Student, your cutoff is not bad. Approach government colleges and inquire them, ask all your doubts. I would suggest you speak with an senior student.
