With an EWS rank around 33k, getting CSE in top NITs or well-known IIITs is tough in normal JoSAA rounds. But you still have decent chances in some newer IIITs and North-East NITs, especially during CSAB special rounds.

You can realistically target colleges like Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad or Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur for CSE/allied branches. In NITs, branches in colleges like National Institute of Technology Agartala or National Institute of Technology Sikkim may become possible in later rounds.

So don’t skip CSAB counselling, that’s where ranks often move a lot.
