The Joint Entrance Examination is held for admissions to the various Engineering and Architectural courses in India. After yo answer Mains, yo qualify for Advanced which is exclusively for admissions to the IITs. Unfortunately, the JEE-Mains scores are only valid for that year and cannot be used to answer the next years' Advanced or take admissions other than the year the exam was taken.
