Definitely You can apply.
There is no problem to apply in aerospace Engineering if you belong to state board. If you want college in lower fees then go for IITs. Work Hard and crack IIT JEE and IIT Advance exams. For IIT Advance, Your 10+2 score must fall in range of top 20% score in your state board exam result. Then you can get selected in top IIT or NITs. You can also get admission in B.Sc. in IISERs. After that you can pursue M.Sc. specialised in aerospace From IISc that is equivalent to Aerospace engineering.

If you study in state board then you can also apply for aerospace engineering but it is beeter to go in good College for that you have to pass/sit entrance exam for aerospace engineering.

Aerospace engineering is the most prestigious branch to be in and it also gives you many opportunities to endeavour everything you want to. Basically it is all about who you are and what you want to do if you want to do aerospace engineering then no one can stop you from doing it and though you are from State Board it won't affect any of your higher studies in Engineering. You can definitely apply for AP Euro space engineering in colleges like IIT Bombay or IIT Kharagpur Indian Institute of Space Science and technology which is at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. This institutes are the most prestigious institutes to do aerospace engineering the whole of the country. It won't matter if you are from State Board as long as you can crack the JEE advanced and JEE Maims to take admission in those colleges.
