iam the student of mpc now which course should i take to join ca
Dear candidate,
If you are an MPC student and you want to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), you’re totally eligible. You don’t need Commerce in 11th–12th to enter CA. Many science students become CAs.
What course should you take?
You should go for CA Foundation after (or during) your 12th.
This is the first level of CA and is open for all streams – Science, Commerce, Arts.
In CA Foundation, you’ll study:
Accounting
Business Laws
Maths, Stats & Logical Reasoning
Economics
Since you’re from MPC, maths won’t be a problem for you. You’ll just need to put extra effort into Accounting and Law because those are new for science students. But honestly, with regular practice, it’s manageable.
Do you need to do B.Com?
Not compulsory. You can do only CA if you want.
But many students choose B.Com along with CA because:
It helps with accounting concepts.
You also get a graduation degree as a backup.
So your simple path is: 12th → CA Foundation → CA Intermediate → Articleship → CA Final
If you want exact details about registration, exam pattern, or whether you should choose B.Com with CA, check the Career360 website. They explain everything clearly and have verified info for students.
