If a student has done 12 with PCB (without maths) and has done Msc Physics then Can he or she give Gate exam and pursue Mtech in IITs?

Failing in core subject i.e. Physics can lead to case of ineligibility in Engineering course admission counselling. All approved colleges will ask for minimum percentage or pass marks in core subjects. But your other marks are good and have a good percentile also. You should apply for compartment in Physics paper.
