If a student has given improvement exam of 5 subjects in cbse but gets absent in 4 subject and appeard only for 1 subject and clears the 60% criteria with the help of the other subject will he still be eligible for jac delhi councelling
Yes, the student will remain eligible for JAC Delhi counselling as long as the updated result satisfies the minimum criteria and the candidate has passed every subject individually. For admission to B.Tech programs in DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and DSEU, a candidate must have at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
As per the improvement rule of CBSE, If any candidate applied for improvement in five subjects but appear in only one, CBSE will consider the higher marks between the main exam and improvement exam. If the candidate is absent in other 4 improvement subjects, the earlier scored marks will be considered. As long as the candidate has an aggregate score of 60%, he/she is eligible for JAC Delhi counselling.
