Dear Harshit, generally what happens is that your compartment result comes around last week of July. Till then the counselling of the top medical colleges gets over. If you clear your compartment exam and then you can go to the college for the admission purpose.
If still there are seats available in the college and your score is above the cut off then you can get the admission. Or you can join the counselling of those colleges whose counselling period will remain active at that time.
Still at last it depends on the college in which you are applying for your admission.
All the best.
Feel free to ask for any query.

Dear Harshit, in India, we have 3 entrance exams for admission to Medical Colleges. They are NEET, JIPMER and AIIMS. The eligibility criteria for appearing in NEET/JIPMER/AIIMS is that you should have completed your 10+2 with the required aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English(for AIIMS) according to your Category. So even if you have failed in a subject but cleared it after retske and you secured the minimum aggregate, you are eligible for these entrance exams.
