If candidate states NRI Sponsored in the CLAT application, will he be considered in the regular AIR List also or only the limited NRI list?

The ranks for all quotas under CLAT are released under one single list, just that if you claim NRI Sponsored Quota, you might secure admissions in those National Law Universities which allow reservation for the same. Therefore, the rank-requirement for candidates claiming NRI Sponsored Quota is relatively low than for the general category students.
First preference will be given to normal AIR rank or not?
Will I be getting an option to choose through which rank(normal AIR/ NRI Sponsored quota rank) I want to apply for NLU?
