if i am not able to qualify jee mains (paper 1) but secured 3000 (obc rank) rank in paper 2(B arch.) can i get admission in any nit ?

No. you cant. But why do you think you have not qualified? There is no qualifying marks for JEE Main. The rank is the basis. Having said that, Paper 1 is for engg and Paper 2 is for B.Arch so with Paper 2, you can try for B.Arch in NITs and other institutes that offer B.Arch. For B.Tech, Paper 1 rank will be considered. As for the cutoff given by CBSE, that is for qualifying to write JEE Advanced.

If we see previous year cutoff list, you may not get admissions in NIT's but now cutoff rank is decreasing so you must try to get admission in NIT of your state rather than seeing other state NIT's because of larger home quota seats.
