    Dear Muthu, when you are applying for MBBS under ESIC Insured quota, it is important to have Insured number. Because that stands as a proof of your claim that you belong to and qualify under ESIC Insured quota. And it is also mandatory to have a valid 'Ward of IP certificate' from the concerned Regional office of ESI Corporation.
